BabylonJS Market exists because indie developers keep proving that a small team with the right tools can build something the whole web wants to play. But building in the open is hard, and the people pushing the platform furthest are often the ones with the least runway.
The Fellowship is our way of investing in them directly — not with vague "exposure," but with money, permanent access to everything we make, and a real push behind their work. We'd rather fund ten ambitious builders than run one more ad.

Three things every strong application has in common.
Independent
You're an independent creator — solo or a small team — actively building on the Market, not a funded studio.
Original
Your project is your own work: an original game, tool, or component built on the platform, not a reskin of someone else's IP.
Ambitious
Show us something that pushes what the Market can do. Not a demo — a real project you're serious about finishing.

The team reviews every application and selects twenty finalists for a short conversation.

We talk with each finalist — the founder included — and choose the Grand Fellows and Fellows.

Who can apply?
Any independent developer building on BabylonJS Market — solo or a small team, anywhere in the world. You don't need a finished game, just real, original work in progress.
Do I need a finished, shipped game?
No. We're funding ambition and momentum. A strong work-in-progress with a clear direction is exactly what we're looking for.
Is the Fellowship tied to working for the Market?
Not at all. It's a no-strings grant — you keep full ownership of your project, and there's no obligation to us during or after.
What exactly do winners receive?
A cash award ($3,000–$10,000 depending on tier), lifetime or one-year Market Pro access, and real promotion of your project and story across our channels.
Are the awards taxable?
Possibly, depending on where you live. Awards may be subject to tax in your country, and recipients are responsible for reporting them; we'll provide the payment documentation you need.
What are the key dates?
Applications close Mar 15, 2026 (11:59 PM PT), and fellows are announced by Apr 20, 2026.
