Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 3, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Babylon.js Market LLC ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use BabylonJS Market — our website, marketplace, component library, courses, developer tools, and command-line interface (together, the "Service").
We aim to collect only what we need to run the Service well, and to be clear about how it is used.
1. Information we collect
We collect information in a few ways:
- Account information you provide, such as your name, email address, and how you sign in (for example, an OAuth provider).
- Purchase information, such as your order history and credit balance. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we receive confirmation and limited billing details but not your full card number.
- Content you submit, such as program applications, component or course submissions, and feedback.
- Usage information, such as pages viewed, features used, downloads, and general analytics about how the Service performs.
- Technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, and cookies or similar technologies.
2. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service and your account.
- Process purchases, credits, downloads, and program participation.
- Send transactional messages (such as receipts, login alerts, and application updates) and, where you have opted in, product news.
- Understand usage, debug problems, and keep the Service secure.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure the Service, and understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work without them.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Service, and where the law requires it:
- Payment processing (Stripe), email delivery (Resend), hosting, and analytics providers, acting on our behalf.
- Legal and safety purposes — for example, to comply with a lawful request, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
- Business transfers — if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
5. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can exercise these rights, or unsubscribe from marketing email at any time, by using the links in our emails or by contacting us. We will respond in line with applicable law.
8. International data transfers
We may process and store information in countries other than the one you live in. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we take steps to ensure it remains protected in line with this Policy and applicable law.
9. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Third-party links
The Service may link to third-party sites and services we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we encourage you to review them.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
