Catching up?
Dropping in at this lesson? One command reinstalls the library components the build uses so far and writes the scene as it stood at the end of the previous lesson to public/scenes/WingmanFlight2/scene.json:
Copy that scene.json over your src/scenes/wingman.json and you are caught up to the start of this lesson.
Course 2 ended with a real dogfight. Two enemy pilots circled you, shooting and dying. But nothing else was in the frame. That is the problem with empty space. It has no walls. You can push the throttle all the way and the black screen never moves. There is nothing in it to move past. If you cannot measure your speed against anything, it looks like no speed at all. A mission needs fixed objects to fly past. So before you write any mission logic, you fill the field with rock.
